Church Planters to America

Fall 2009

Buckleys Celebrate 50 Years of Marriage and Ministry

It was during the first few weeks of their freshman year in college that Tom and Carol met and began a relationship that has taken them through 54 years together. They were married in July, 1959 and became church planting missionaries. They have two children and four grandchildren.

For the first 20 years they opened 3 closed churches and helped a struggling church. In 1980 Tom became the General Director of the American Mission for Opening Churches. While serving in that position he started the Olcott Bible Church. In 1996 through a series of unique circumstances, Tom and Carol, along with several other missionary families, started Church Planters to America. Through these 50 years God has blessed and hundreds have been saved. But 50 is only a number and the Buckleys aren't finished yet. Keep them in prayer as they lead C.P.A. Pray for continued good health and for safety as they travel many miles in their ministry for C.P.A. To their friends and supporters we say, "Thank-you". Your partnership with them is a blessing to all of us in C.P.A.
