Dear Friends:

One month is already gone in the new year and we are reminded that God's Word tells us to "redeem the time." We need to do all that we can for the Lord, now, as we anticipate His soon return. How thankful we are for the vision that God has given us in C.P.A. to help churches to be revived and once again become lights in the community.

To accomplish this task it takes men and their families who are willing to answer Gods call to these often forgotten places. Because of the difficulties, it takes churches and individuals, who are willing to pray for these men and support them financially so they can devote full time to the ministry. To everyone who faithfully supports and/or prays for C.P.A. and our mission family we thank you. Your recent gift is a help and encouragement. Pray that God will give us more missionary pastors and people who will support them. The Word of God says in Matthew 9:37-38, "The harvest truly is plenteous, but the labourers are few; pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that He will send labourers into His harvest." This was the need in Jesus' day and it still is today.

During the month of February my wife, Carol, and I are in Florida enjoying the warm weather, but more importantly, meeting with people and visiting churches with the hope that we will meet men whom God has called to be church planters. Over the years God has used trips such as this to bring men into C.P.A. Pray that God will lead us to such men. We need them, America needs them, and there are churches here in America that needs them. There are many lost souls that need to hear the Gospel and come to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. Friends, pray with us for fruit from this trip.

We are thankful that, each month, souls are being saved. We are seeing growth take place within the mission churches. Pray that the goal of being self-supporting will become a reality.

Thank you for praying and giving. Please read and pray through the PRAYER & PRAISE here on our web site. Each missionary shares some personal praise and prayer requests. Spring will be here soon. Pray for plans that are being made for special ministries. Pray for people to be reached with the Gospel. We are already making plans for this year's C.P.A. Missionary Pastor's Retreat; July 16-20.

May the Lord give you a great month and may His blessings abound in your life as you faithfully serve Him.
