Missionaries

Dear Friends and Partners in Ministry,

As we approach the Christmas season, I have many things to be so thankful for. This past summer marked 60 years of being involved in church planting ministry. I am thankful for the many experiences I have had over the years of working in our churches by serving others as a missionary pastor's wife, teaching children's Bible classes, Vacation Bible Schools, Good News Clubs, and traveling many miles with Tom to share our burden for America and the local church. The United States of America is as needy as ever in reaching the lost with the gospel. Our nation has drifted so far from the Lord and the principles on which it was founded. Thank you to all my supporters who have continued on with me in financial and prayer support. It is truly a pleasure to be serving the Lord.

As many of you know throughout Tom's illness and subsequent home going in June, I have continued in the ministry here primarily by handling a large amount of headquarters home office responsibilities in support of our missionaries out on the field. Additionally, I am attending our mission church in Portageville, NY. Locally, I have also been able to associate with a senior citizens group for monthly fellowship and I occasionally visit with and encourage some local widows. I am especially thankful for the help of our Director, Rev. Rob Andreas, this past summer as he has continued to maintain the grounds here at mission headquarters and my home. He has been a great help to me in this endeavor.

Since June I've been able to sort through a lot of Tom's items and disperse some of his things. Going forward my daughter Debbie and I will be planning a garage sale around springtime to scale down a number of items that are no longer used which were associated with Tom's many talents in gardening, woodworking and handy-man abilities. Praise the Lord that I was able to sell our travel trailer and pull vehicle that we used for many years in extensive travels on behalf of the ministry.

Lord willing next year with some planning and help from my family, I would like to take a trip to New England like I did with Tom so many times in order to visit some supporting churches and reacquaint with dear friends.

As we go into 2020 please pray for the growth of Church Planters To America and for new church planting missionaries to join us that share our burden for America and the local church. There are many communities in America still without a gospel witness. Praise the Lord for my good health. Please pray for ongoing good health and additionally for safety on the roads during these winter months.

Please remember the words of Isaiah. "So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it." Isaiah 55:11. I would like to wish each one of you a very Merry Christmas and a blessed New Year as we prepare to enter 2020.

Yours, Serving Christ,
