Dear C.P.A Friends,

I want to tell you of an opportunity that God has brought to us. There is a struggling church in Belfast, Me, Emmanuel Baptist Church. They have dwindled to 8 or 10 people and have asked C.P.A. for help. Belfast is a town of about 8,000 people and is in great need of a sound, Bible preaching church.

My wife, Carol, and I have made several trips to Maine and have had a number of meetings with the people. The church is in great shape, but the parsonage, which is needed for a missionary pastor, is in need of major repairs. There are no funds available and they have considered closing the church.

I believe this is a great opportunity for C.P.A. Belfast needs the Gospel. We need help to raise $20,000 to do some major repairs. The furnace may need to be replaced, the plumbing and electrical repairs, new lighting fixtures, replacement windows, carpeting, etc for floors and the possibility of fixing a mold problem. I know this sounds like an impossible task, but with Gods help and the help of friends of C.P.A., we can do it.

THE PLAN! - We need to repair the roof now. Then the heat, plumbing, electrical and windows need to be done by early spring. After that we will use volunteer help. Many people have already offered to help. They will get the inside ready for the missionary pastor to move in, hopefully by the end of May. This will include a total cleaning of the house from ceiling to floor.

MY CHALLENGE TO YOU! It will cost approximately $20,000 to make the house livable. We are trusting God to supply and asking individuals and churches to help.

Pastor Mark Ruggerio, his wife Sue, and their two daughters have accepted God's call to be the missionary

pastor. They will be leaving St. John, Maine when the timing is right. Pray for God to provide a pastor

for the St. John Bible Church.

Please download a special letter with a concise list of prayer requests and a response form. Please pray for this important need and if you feel led to help, with a special gift, please use the response form.

Every dollar will be used to restore the parsonage. All funds will be dispersed by Church Planters To America. Please help us reach the City of Belfast, Maine with the Gospel.

Feel free to contact us for information or questions. Thank You.

Yours, Serving Christ,
